Applications are invited for a Project Scientist to join the Laboratory of Dr Hildebrand in the Food, Microbiome and Health programme at Quadram Institute Bioscience (QIB), based in Norwich, UK.

The main purpose of this role is to project manage and enable the development of strategic research programme grants within the Earlham Institute (EI).

We invite applications for a tenure-track Lecturer and Early Career Group Leader position within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, offered for an initial period of 3 years. Successful candidates will be supported to apply for external fellowships during their appointment and will benefit from structured career development aligned with agreed objectives to enhance their prospects for fellowship success and long-term academic progression.

This role will focus on the long-term development of novel experimental methods for the study of the human microbiome. The position will be associated with Prof Quince’s High-resolution Microbiomics group, jointly at Quadram/Earlham.
