Biography

I am a molecular biologist with expertise in plant-microbe interactions, high-throughput screening and translational research. I lead the Earlham Institute Biofoundry, where we aim to use automated approaches in engineering biology to advance scientific projects.

Before joining the EI, I worked for the 2Blades Group at The Sainsbury Laboratory, based at the Norwich Research Park. My work involved collaborative projects with industry, identifying and engineering novel sources of resistance genes to deploy in corn and soybean.

I obtained my PhD in Plant Biology at Buenos Aires University, Argentina, before working for the biotech company BIOCERES-INDEAR.
