Prof Eleanor Mishra

Biography

I am a respiratory consultant and Pleural Lead at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital caring for patients with pleural disease, including pleural infection and infected medical devices. My research experience is in leading practice changing clinical trials. I am interested in IPC associated infection and biofilm formation and currently holds an MRC IAA grant to develop a biofilm resistant catheter. A further research interest is in bacteriophages and chronic Pseudomonas colonisation in patients with bronchiectasis. I also recruit to other national trials in lung cancer and pleural disease.
